Colchester were largely outplayed last round, but won 2-1 with the Gills missing a penalty and a whole host of late chances, defensively the U's have been underfperforming, but they certainly have goals in them , they are battling hard and must be confident after that series of results and they followed up with another three points at Swindon Town with a 2-1 win on Saturday. However, City have played really well in their last three road starts and they, like every team who has faced United in recent weeks will get chances and probably numerous ones and I would be amazed if there were not goals in this for both teams. City are hard hit by injury and weakened on both flanks and the home side could have a lot of joy out wide and despite all their defensive failings, have scored 14 in their last six starts, two or more in each and a feature of those games has been early goals, with 14 before the half hour mark in their last seven games, two or more in six and that always helps with "overs" !

Celta Vigo gegen Getafe
Ein sehr gutes Spiel werden wir heute erwarten. Celta Vigo ist noch in voller euphorie nach einem sehr guten Start in die Saison. Sie haben genauso viele Punkte wie Real Madrid und ein Punkt weniger als Barcelona. Und wenn sie heute gewinnen sollten, können sie der Leader der Primera Divison sein. Zumindestens bis Samstag. Aber auf der anderen Seite ist Getafe auch in einer guten Form. Bei den letzten 10 Direktduellen zwischen diesen Mannschaften haben die Gäste nie gewonnen.
Wenn Celta Vigo diese Form halten kann, können sie nächste Saison auch International spielen. Getafe ist derzeit die schlechteste Auswärtsmannschaft in der Liga. Sie haben alle drei Spiele Auswärtsspiele verloren und haben nur ein Tor geschossen. Celta Vigo dagegen hat daheim insgesamt 10 mal getroffen (4x Barcelona, 3x Las Palmas, 3x Rayo Vallecano)

Fehlende Spieler
Bei Celta Vigo sind Andreu Fontas und Ruben Blanco immer noch verletzt. Sergi Gomez und Gustavo Cabral werden erneut in der Innenverteidigung spielen. Alle anderen Spieler sind fit und in Topform. Alle von ihnen sind sehr für dieses Spiel motiviert und wollen Getafe vor ihren Fans schlagen.

Prognose
Wir werden ein wirklich gutes Fußballspiel erwarten. Celta Vigo ist in Top-Form und will unbedingt Getafe vor ihren Fans schlagen. Sie spielen ein sehr aggressiven Fußball und werden versuchen, von der ersten Minute an ein Tor zu erzielen. Auf der anderen Seite wird Getafe versuchen die Null zu halten und stark hinten stehen.

Breakthrough win for Ajaccio last round (1-0 vs Auxerre) and it surely provided a massive confidence boost and we get a big price on them to follow up this evening. Europa League Sieger gegen Champions League Sieger, das sollte doch eigentlich einiges versprechen. Aber beide Teams sind längst noch nicht in der Form des letzten Jahres. Bei Barcelona wird vieles mit dem Ausfall von Messi erklärt, ohne den scheinbar wirklich eine wichtige KOmponente im Spiel fehlt. Bei Svilla ist es kaum zu erklären, wieso diese Mannschaft erst ein Spiel in der Primera Division gewonnen hat. In der Champions League scheint die Motiovation etwas größer zu sein, wie man beim 3:0 gegen Mönchengladbach gesehen hat. Und genau dieseer Antriebsfaktor wird heute auch nicht fehlen, weshalb ich glaube, daß Sevilla nicht gegen Barca verlieren muß.

Am Mittwoch verlor Atletico überraschend sein Champions League Heimspiel gegen Benfica. Das läßt nicht gerade auf eine besonders gute Form schließen, legt aber auch den Verdascht nahe, daß das Duell gegen Real in Atleticos Köpfen viel wichtiger ist als Benfica. In der Liga steht Atletico etwa im Bereich des Mäglichen. Bisher schien die Neuformierung der Mannschaft noch nicht besonders gut zu greifen, aber heute wird Atletico fast in Bestbesetzung antreten. Und für das Duell gegen Real muß man sie sowieso nicht besonders motivieren. Atletico hat schon öfter gezeigt, daß es mit Real und Barca mithalten kann, und hätte vor zwei Jahren den Champions League sieg gegen Real auch verdient gehabt. Deshalb denke ich, daß es heute für Real nicht so leicht wird und traue Atletico wenigstens einen Punkt zu.

La Liga Levante-Villarreal

Villa are having a huge season and currently sit top of La Liga and making good Europa League progress. I am not sure how long they can hold off the big 3, but with Barce dropping three points last night and the other two meeting in the Madrid derby this evening, they will surely want to make hay while the sun shines and take advantage. Three points will ensure they remain top going into the break and that would also open up a five point advantage over the Catalan giants. Perhaps more importantly long term, at least in Champions League terms, is the fact that they are already seven points ahead of big rivals Valencia and seven up on Sevilla (who have already played this weekend) and if they could extend that today it would be a very healthy advantage.

Levante are struggling. without a win in ten and having conceded nine in their last three starts, they have given up five goals in their last three home fixtures, conceding in each and have already lost to Villa here in pre season, 2-0. In La Liga, Villarreal have won on six of their last seven visits, scoring 2+ in all wins and I strongly favour another fairly comfortable road derby win for the away side, with an already poorly performing hos,t now missing three key players in Angel Truijillo, Verza and Ruben Garcia, which leaves them weaker in the centre of the backline and across midfield where Villa are very strong.
